Do BBK air filters need oil?

Do BBK air filters need oil? I just installed a new BBK intake and it didn`t say anything about oiling the filter but I did anyway.

I would oil it, as long as you use a good air filter oil.

in the instructions for mine it said to... i did. K&N has an air filter cleaning kit that comes with the oil. it's pretty good.
