Wanting to build a Rat Rod !

What do you guys think of this for a rat rod? A 1934 Chevy truck placed on a 1990 Chevy blazer drag truck. The body of the 34 is all original and it is all there except for the hood (which i don't want). The blazer runs and this is the set up: v8 conversion motor mounts, v8 conversion headers, 355 CID small block Chevrolet, Four bolt mains, GM crate motor, Weiand stealth intake, Holley carb, HEI distributor with accel coil, chrome valve covers, Mr. Gasket throttle cable and mount, chrome oil pan, flat top pistons, lightweight flywheel, five speed manual trans, lightweight driveshaft, upgraded racing ten bolt back axle with 5.13 rear gears and posi, traction bars, 30x14.5/15 slicks, lowered 6.5 inches in the front and 3 inches in the back, electric cooling fan, push button start, tach and guages, dual 2.5 inch exhaust.

Basically i would like to remove the body from the blazers frame and then add everything from the '34 onto the blazers frame. I should be able to use everything from the blazer, wiring, drivetrain, etc....

Whatcha think?

Looks like alot of work but sure would be fun to do and end up with a fun ride as well

do it! i've been wanting to build a rat rod for a couple years now! i grew up on real hotrods like that! be sure to keep it ratty though, no billet aluminum, minimal chrome, blanket seat covers and even leave some surface rust!

haha do it, that would be badass. I have been seeing ratrods around here that do not look comfortable or yet very functional..lol

Sounds like something that could occupy some time!
