What a day

Well after 8 hr I got my bronco home. The day started off ok I drove my bronco to work to check the rear end and well the pinion only had 2 teeth left and the others where in pieces I took me a long time to find a trailer the damn thing would fit on. Then I had to find someone with a truck that could pull 10k. My girls grandpa let me use his truck and a friend got me a tilt trailer but I had to drive 40miles to get it.. All was good tell I tried to load my truck. The trailer was 2" to narrow, so the search for stock or atleast smaller tires started. It's now 11 here and the search for a trailer started at 11:50am! It's been a long day

damn dude, that really sucks. would have been quicker to buy a new ring and pinion and install it right where it sat.

Man that sucks. Too bad it wasn't one of those trucks where they're front wheel drive when in 2 wheel drive. I know that Dodge and Chevy both did that but don't know if Ford did.

A flatbed here that would be big enough would only cost about $40-$50 and they'll pull it right up. I've used them a few times for donor cars. Did you see what one would cost? Might save all the traveling, gas and headaches.

Well this was the cheapest way it just cost me 1/2 of diesel. The axle is done, gears carrier and I noticed that the axle was starting to twist the tub one one side and it needed a diff cover too. I think I'm going to just throw the axle out and put a 10.25 in.

how are the repairs coming?

I think this is going to have to take a back seat. Im going to stick a diff rearend under it so I need more funds. My mustang needs some TLC first since its my DD.
