Porting SVO Heads Need some info

Can someone give me the low down on how to properly port a set of aluminum SVO heads for a 351 Windsor that is about to be a 393 windsor need to do the heads right Just dont have much cash but i do have time and a compressor and tools to use

i still say your wasting your time with those heads. you can open the ports up yes but the valves are still to small for a big cube windsor. you are going to choke the shit out of it

If thats so what do you recomend I sure cant afford trick flow heads for a mear 3000.00

I agree, I wouldn't run anything smaller then a 205cc intake port. Let that big motor breath.

trick flow, afr 205's, victor jrs will all get the job done. your heads will work yes but you will not make good power with them being they are going to choke the air in and exhaust out.

if what you have is all you can afford right now run with them save up and buy a big set of heads down the road.

i have a set of twisted wedge's on my 395 that was stage 2 ported by tea and milled down to a 54cc chamber. it's all about what you can afford. if you do plan you twisted wedges later on make shure you get pistons with dual valve reliefs
