Weld pro stars

Is anyone running weld prostar 15x3-1/2" up front on a 99-04 gt? If so,what mods need to be made? I found a chart online that showed everything from wheel size to backspacing to lugnuts and spacers. I can no longer find it. I believe it said i could run 15"x3-1/2" with a 7/16" spacer. Is this true? I really dont feel like grinding a 1/2" off of my calipers. Any info is greatly appreciated.

i think the 7/16 is correct but you can also cut the brush guard off and run just a 1/4" spacer

I run 01 PBR brakes with 3.5 Pro-Stars on my 93 and I ground about 1/2 to 3/4 of the crossover bar off and use a 3/8 spacer. No rubbing at all. I cut 1 inch off my control arms to bring them back in so they don't stick out the extra.

I didn't grind the entire bar off because I wanted the stability of it to keep the caliper halves together.

i have the spacer on mine also, but i had to grind a small bit off the caliper. no real big deal, but i have a 96gt.
