that sucks!!!! i also heard that obama's auto task force is telling gm and chrysler that they have to back out of nascar at the end of the season if they want anymore bailout assistance saying that they are spending money on unnecessary things.

It was one of the few events I try to run every year. As far as I know, the whole NASCAR thing was an april fools joke. I'm not a NASCAR fan myself, and it would make sense though. They are begging for money to stay in business, but want to spend millions on racing.

It's like a friend asking you for money because they can't make rent. After you give them the money, they start bragging about the new mods they bought the following day.

Just my $0.02 and rant for the day, ha ha.

yeah Fun Ford Weekend has always been the same weekend as my birthday and i say it is my "Christmas in July" but not this year...fucking economy can blow my nuts...

yeah instead of Fun Ford Weekend my local track is having Fords at the Summit, which should be about the same thing and is $12 cheaper so it aint all so bad i guess

Hopefully Bandimere will have something similar. That was the one thing I hated, it was like a $100 day to race there. Granted like $40 was for a nitrous fill, since the local shop ran out two days before.
