How bad was it/is it?

Most of us have seen the news by now about the latest winter storm that tore/is tearing across the country. I want to know how bad it was for everyone. Here in KS most of us dodged a bullet. We had .02 of an inch of ice and snow here in Wichita. I had a couple of trucks that were headed to CA on I-80 and they had to stop in Cheyenne, WY due to I-80 being closed west of there. Ended up sending them down I-25 to catch I-40 at Albuquerque, NM to go on out to CA. 600+ miles out of route. I also have 30+ trucks shutdown in IL, IN, OH, KY and east due to the storm. So, how bad is it/was it for you?

wife parked the durango outside last night because i have a steep driveway and she didn't want to slide down it....this morning she woke up with a durango ice cube. she couldn't get the doors open or anything, so she ended up having to slide the mustang down the driveway and take that to work.

Where's she at? I heard the Dallas area was pretty bad, but not much else for TX.

well the weather here in OKC sucked the past couple of days. On Monday the weather turned bad quick went from 40 to 9 degrees in a matter of 6 hours and with this came the damn ice. Monday night it started snowing and we got about an inch (I know not alot in comparisson) but it is oklahoma. Anyway they shut the base down at noon Monday and it did not reopen till today. Yesterday the high was only 12 degrees so of course the ice did not melt forever and people here cannot drive in the ice and snow. We had 28000 homes without power across the state last night but they where pretty close to having them all taken care of today. So that is how oklahoma faired in the weather. Just glad we had a garage for the car.

Everything is good to go here in Little Rock.

They got it really heavy up in Northern Arkansas though. My ex brother in law said that almost their whole County was out of power and would most likely remain that way for about a week. They got about 2" or so of ice up there. He said that there was a solid inch of ice on all the trees, and that there was a ton of them that had already fallen, or were still breaking and snapping. The power poles are so remote for most of the main transmission lines that they are having to fly a helicopter in to check them all and then send out the workers....That was in Mtn. View, AR.

My Dad in Paragould, AR. said that they will be out of power for a couple of days. He said that they got about 1/2" - 1" of ice up there.

We just missed it down here in Little Rock, the freezing line was about 15 miles north of us!
We had the usual wrecks pile up down here still, everyone wanting to drive like it's the fucking Daytona 500 on their way home from work. I guess they thought that if they hurried up that they might beat the weather! lmao. Dumbass retards!!!

We are south of Waco by about 45 minutes and north of Austin by about 1:15. (and for anyone not from texas, the easiest way to measure any distance in texas is by the amount of time it takes you to drive there.) the freezing line was south of us, but not by much, so it rained until midnight or so, and then it went to sleet and freezing rain, so all the rain from earlier froze too. my neighbor's car was frozen to the ground because a puddle formed around the two right side tires durning the night and then froze. kinda funny. stupid PT Loser.

Ok guys, here are some pics from my Girlfriend's house in Jonesboro, AR... They got a pretty good dose of Ice and Snow. Mainly Ice though....Look at the first pic really close at the small limbs, you can get a good idea of how much ice is on everything!
