Bigs and Littles

hey guys, what are ya'lls thoughts on me running a set of bigs and littles on my 03 GT? i been searching around looking at pics of my body style with bigs and littles on it and i just love the look. on all my fox body's as ya'll know i've always run bigs and littles.

also, is there anything i need to do in order to run the 15" littles up front?

Re: Bigs and Littles

Heres my old car:

Hit up Summit for their "Drag Stars"

I have run several sets of Welds, and the Summits I prefer over them.....and they are CHEAP. The Summits are a 1 piece design, unlike the Welds...so they balance more true.

And they are more streetable and harder to damage.

The only downfall is the finish on the Summits are not as "blingy" But with a little hard work that can be overcome.

My favorite wheels on the 99-04's are the Billet Specialties, Centerline TelStars (cheap), and the Bogart D-10's.

You will want 15x4's in the front, and you will need either 7/16" spacers or if you grind a little off the calipers, could use 1/4" spacers. I do not recommend running anything more then 7/16" spacers without extended studs.

On the rear, you will want to get the 15x8 with a 5.5 BS. They will fit perfectly.

-------- added 2 Minutes and 55 Seconds later --------

I too prefer bigs N littles

NICE, yeah i saw pics of those cars and thats what got me to really thinking of going that way instead of the 17x9/10.5 way.

Re: Bigs and Littles

i honestly like both styles, the big-n-littles give it just a badass racecar look while the 17X9/10.5's are more street, sharp looking.
If it were me i think i would go the big-n-little route

Re: Bigs and Littles

Both routes loook good to me . The big little says drag raceing to me , while the 17x9.5 / 10.5 looks more the road racer.

how much did that 1/2 coil drop the rear? Thinking about doing that myself cheaper than $389.95 for a set of adjustable control arms.

Re: Bigs and Littles

I think that the big/little look is the way to go. I almost bought the 17x9 and 10.5 out back. I just figured that I wanted to be able to rotate them, so I got the 17x9 all the way around!
