| Cleavland's are best suited for cars they originally came in. They can rock but are pretty darn heavy and expensive compared to W's.
Oiling issues at high RPM's I've found to be a pretty big rumor. What do you consider high RPM's. 6, 7, 8k? 4V heads on a Cleavland built correctly can see >7K pretty easily and thats where the problems arise but its not isolated to just the C's. Pretty much any stock block and oiling system will start having issues at that point. Even with 5w30 my 351c in the Mach 1 sees 80 psi cold and 40 psi hot idle measured at the back of the block with a std oiling system and 15k miles on it. |
