throttle body?

Ok i've got a question that i've been wondering about. What size throttle body can i get before i have to start messing with the injectors and MAF. What size is stock? I've been kinda thinking about buying one with my tax return, would it be worth the money to put it on my stock fuel injection setup or is there more bang for the buck to go with? Just need a lil help, dont want to waste money. Thanks guys

Personally for the money, i would look at some sort of nitrous kit. This would be the best bang for you buck, and still allow you to run your stock stuff. If you do decide to go with a larger throttle body, i wouldn't go over 75mm....

What size I got would depend on what future plans are. If you plan on getting good heads, cam,and intake in the future I'd go with a bigger one like a 75. Its probably too big for what you have now,but you wont need to buy it twice that way. If your going to sty mildly modded or mostly stock go with a 70.

Stock is 65mm. I went with a 70mm and 24 lb injectors and there is a big difference.

my motor is a '72 bored .o40, 289 hi-po heads and some kind of cam(not sure what kind). I just took the fuel injection off of my stock 302. I was just looking and saw that 70 and 75mm were about the same price, but i didnt want to overdue it or spend money on the wrong thing. Also what would be a good intake to go with, what do you guys run?
