quick question?

i got fenders and a hood from my local junkyard, and the fenders were from a 81 stang, and i was wondering if these fenders would fit my 91 lx with an 89 lx hood? will i have to make any modifications tomy frame or to the fenders to make it fit? and does anybody have brackets and the bolts that holds the front bumper cover? i have to get my frame strightened up just a tad caz the car accident twisted it up underneath the radiator and my local body shop said it will take $500 to pull it and put on the new panels. the things that needs replacing is the fenders, hood, and headlights.this is a shop where i could hopefully trust from their cars parked out front. Do you guys think this is a good deal to do that all?

its because they went to a 16" wheel so i guess they opened up the fender a lil bit...

They will fit but you need the lower front plastic pieces that bolt to the fenders for a 87-89 LX car so the lower front portion of the front fenders will line up properly with the 91 LX nose.....

We have used the 16 inch pony wheels on 90 and down fenders before, and never had a problem. We have even used 17 inch wheels with the smaller fenders.

the fenders should be the same shape...i think from 79-93 they were all the same...i have some 86 fenders on my 88 and they fit and lined up with everything...i know that after 90 or so they got airbags...maybe it has something to do with that, but it should be the same shape and size either way and i have 17's on my car right now and theres no rubbing on the fenders

In 1991 They stepped up to the 16 inch pony wheels, so they made the wheel opening larger. It is barely noticeable until you try to put a 91-93 fender extension on a pre 91 fender.
