I would get a new sending unit for the water temp.

If you or a friend has a hand held heat senser, that might help.
Make sure your fan is working right, and the rad. is freely flowing.

well under hood temps do get HOT but there are a few things you can do.
the ceramic headers would help but you can also use header wrap on your headers IF you like. A cowl hood will help flow some air to help cool down under the hood too.

A ele fan is allways a good idea but if you add one I suggest you upgrade your alt too. I did mine all at once.... 3 row rad, SN-95 cooling fan, and a 3g 130 amp alt. Lights still dim a little at night at idle due to the UD pullies though.

YES your intaks should get so hot its untouchable. thats why one of the BEST mods at the race track is a $2.00 bag of ICE on the intake. lol lol

yeah i heard header wrap isnt too good on a daily driver. they say about a year later ur headers rust out under the tape from rain. i ordered some stuff from 50resto and stumbled upon the conversion wire for the alt. it was 12 bucks so what the hell.

theres cowls and heat extractors. i never liked cowls, I've been picturing my car with one for a while now and it'd like to get one when i can. nothing too big though probably 2.5 inch. I read somewhere about the thermo stat about temps. stock one is no good? 180 is what people are using. I live in Canada so it doesnt as hot as it does in the states in most places. Could i do somthing with that?
