5.0 Belt Routing and sizing chart.

Hey guys and gals. This is a chart that shows the proper belt routing on a 5.0 Mustang.

This will let you know what belt sizes that you need when you bypass certain accessories. The most common one being the smog pump.

I can tell you that I used a 84.5" belt on my Fox with no problems, and it didn't have underdrive pulleys. I only mention this because the article says that they were installed on a car with U/D pulleys.

i removed my a/c and my smog and did underdrive pullies except on altrntr, and i have no problems. justr enough room between the water pump and idler pully. have seen that you can by pass the idler pully too. dont know why you would do it. but guess that you can. mines whining alittle. might do it.
