If you have the cash to build a stout short block and a .600 or better lift cam this would be the way to go.

'69 to '70 Windsor heads at one point in time were the only offerings we had out there... but now after you install a set of good valves, and have them properly ported you are running into the costs associated with just laying down the money for some brand new out of the box Twisted Wedge aluminum heads.
Using those 351C heads on a 302/351, how worthwhile is this, what benefits are there? I have a set of D00E heads I was goign to use on my 351W, but since I'm trying to make the car as different as I can from the rest of the foxs out there, I think I'd like to give this a try.

In a Fox Mustang you'll probably need specific headers for this application... this might be pricey. As they say... It all adds up. You'll need a balanced package; camshaft, intake, and carb to make this combo work. Going Fuel Injected will be pricey.

U'd be running 351 on a 302, right? Headers and all brackets should bolt right up.

He is thinking 351 Clevor combo... 351W headers will NOT work.

Not sure about brackets... that may be another concern.

They will work fine. I have two sets of 69 351 heads in my garage if anyone wants them. I will sell them cheap. One of the sets happens to be the set NoMo5o had on his car. They are still his, but I wouldn't mind taking the money for his shit.

No... they won't...

There is a huge difference between the Cleveland head and the Windsor head.

Again... not to beat a dead horse... Comprehension skills are needed when reading. Edjumikation is a gud thang.

Look at the bolt holes for the exhaust... See the difference yet?
