update on my 5.0
well guys ive been buying parts from the junkyard and got a electric fan off a tauras and a 3g alternator off a 97 3.8 mustang. the parts work and i installed the alternator today and omg i love it. i got no charging problems whatsoever.

thats awesome, i have this website that i'm sure you have seen i think it was posted on here, that tells of all the upgrades you can get for your stang out of the junkyard.

i used the same plug in it came in on the 94 mustang. then i just spliced into the old wiring lol
so ya i did use a new plug

I "upgraded" the charge wire when I installed mine. the 2 stock wires are barely enough for the 2g alts much less the 3g. I used 2ga with a inline fuse, run from the "stud" on the alt to the battery.
