351W Crankshaft

Ok after my harmonic balancer fell off I have decided to slowly build my motor with advise for everyone n this website. I wanted to know if a 351 Windsor crankshaft, pistons and piston rods would fit in a 302? Also what other changes would I have to make?? I found a 351 W in a local junk yard that still has all the internal components. If this would work than woooooohuuuuu if not than F!@# this shit, here comes the parts for a 347.

No the windsor crank won't fit. the counterweights on a windsor crank will hit the 302 block. i have heard of people milling these down to fit but they pay a fortune. cheaper to buy a stroker crank then to go through all the hassle. I would say stick with a stroker kit. you can pick them up for less then 2k.

Right on I sure do appreciate it. I have to put a new harmonic balancer on my car. Can anyone tell me how to put one on and still have my timing dead on??

replacing the balancer will not affect your ignition timing.
