flywheel/clutch problem ok heres the problem i am now having. I put a 1972 motor in my mustang and used the T-5 and everything from my 91 motor on it. After i had everything installed i realized the 50oz. flywheel wouldnt work, so i put a billet aluminum 28oz flywheel in it. Put it all back together and the fork was way back and the pedal was very heavy, i took it for a drive and the clutch wouldnt fully engage. Drop the tranny and everything again today and realize there is about half inch gap between the pressure plate and flywheel and it wont draw down all the way..what the hell is going on? I did notice the new flywheel is a little thicker than the 50oz, would that make a difference? sorry its so long but i have to get this figured out real soon, i wanna drive her so bad...So Please Help!! |
