I played with the car today to find out what was up with the fuel pump running all the time. I swapped out the Fuel pump relay and the main EEC relay. Nada. The only thing left was the computer. I swapped in a TE computer in place of the PK and viola! Fuel pump primes the rails for a second and shuts off.

Step two. See if it fires up by itself... Yey! It started and ran all by itself. Pretty amazing because there is no exhaust, O2 sensor, TPS sensor or turbo vacuum lines at all. I would have been happy with just a little bit of light off but the fact that it started and idles by itself was a real miracle.

I had to make a crappy video to share.

I used the fuel pump to empty the smelly old gas. I only had about 2.5 gallons of fresh stuff to put into the tank at the time. It still needs more than just gas. I just received a drivers door pannel today but really need to swap the entire door first. And I need some paint before I do that. A red door wont look too hot even being rust free.
