Strange thought.

I used to own a early 80's Ford Fairmont Futura.
I know it was a FOX platform. I put Mustang parts in
the front suspension and T-Bird parts in the rear.
Now for the question:
If Mustang parts fit a Futura, what's to keep someone from sticking
the in-line 6 in a Mustang? Or fitting Futura parts onto the Mustang
front suspension?
Not that I'm thinking of doing it, but just curious.

nothing should stop ya.......If you can use part's off of it, git r dun.....if they look like they wont fit, then don't use em......all the engine's should work.

if you didn't know,in the early 80's they actually had an inline 6 in the mustang.i had a friend that had one and a junkyard here in the springs currently has one with the i-6 in it.in order to put one in you need a k-frame for the I-6 as the mounts sit alot farther forward in the bay than the 4,v6 and 8 did.we found that out when we pulled the 6 and tried to put a 302 in it and the motor sat 2 far forward and you couldn't align the trans crossmember..

It's getting worse. Streets and roads are closing all around us.
Tracy MO. is flooded, our Water Treatment Plant is in danger and we're being warned our sewers may start backing up.
The Platte River is a mile or a mile and a Half out of it's banks, The Missouri River is a mile wider, and it looks like it may rain again.
Add this on top of Greenburg Kansas being a debris pile with only 2 buildings standing where they were, and maybe President Shrub should just declare Kansas a disaster area and move everyone to Arizona.
