I had the 555 235/305/18 on my 02 saleen s/c . They did great on the street. As for the track i ran them 3 time in one day and for got to let out the tire pressure and not for sure how much that effected them but they suck.

Nitto 555R's are the best tire to hook up a high HP car that see's frequent street use, period. M/T, BFG, and Hoosier DR's are much stickier(you can tell by just rubbing your hand accross the tires) and better for hooking at the track than the 555R's, but they are not even close to the Nitto's interms of handling, they wear out 3x faster than the 555R's, and the Nitto's are the only decent DR's to drive in the rain with. If you want to hook at the track buy two wheels and add slicks. Where every street tire I have ran on my Cobra will break in third, the Nitto's want even break in first unless I launch from a dead stop hard or its very cold or wet out. They also don't like to break in a turn.
