summer mods

i dont have very much disposable income this summer, but i really want to at least do one or two mods hopefully. i have lowering springs, pullies, panhard bar and blacked out headlights sitting in the garage waiting for a free weekend with nice weather.

i have an 07 GT. mods are: LT headers, h-pipe, catback, 3200 stall, 3.73s, strut tower brace, visual stuff (lightbar and black 18" bullitts), delete plates, and its been custom tuned.

the question is, what else do i do this year? i dont want to do anything else visual really. control arms are probably a given, but what else should i do? wheels, more suspension stuff? im bored which is probably a bad thing cuz now i'm thinking but whatever... i need ideas! thanks for your opinions

Re: summer mods

why not something cheaper, like an Aluminium driveshaft? take advantage of our American Muscle discount. But if cams are the way to go, get hooked with with Modularspeed (Kelly) i am sure he can hook you up too.

Re: summer mods

thanks for the ideas. i've definitely thought about cams, but if i'm gonna do cams i might as well get heads and injectors, and then i might as well port and polish everything. it's like if you give a mouse a cookie lol

i'm thinking cams, or new brakes and rotors, or driveshaft. lots of ideas to think about...

hey brian, how much is the AM discount btw?

Yes it would be nice to do all of them at one time, but if funding is a little lean, just do one of them at a time.

I don't remember for sure, but I think that the discount is like 6% or so, but don't quote me on that! It makes it worth it though for sure. ModularSpeed definitely has some real good deals for the members on here too.

Re: summer mods

keep the wheels you have now, and put on better tires. traction = more speed.

Re: summer mods

i think its better just to do upgrades here and there than all at once, kind keeps you excited about the car and you get to enjoy each mod...
