vibration...

ok i am going to throw this out there to see if anyone has anything else to add to what i have tried....i am having a rather moderate vibration coming through the car and the steering wheel. Now i just put on the new rims and tires on saturday and they were balanced at that time. i checked the lug nuts again and they are still all tight. the vibration doesn't happen at low speeds but gets felt at 60mph plus....i may have thrown a wheel weight but i don't think that is the case. maybe thinking could be in the driveshaft? any suggestions on what else i can check?

i had some shit go wrong with the driver's side of my steering rack and it was fine at low speeds but at 50 is started to shimmy the wheel and just got worse until about 80 when i was too freaked out to drive any faster. it was something with the seal breaking and pieces of the seal got inside and fucked up the gears... might be that... see if there is any power steering fluid leaking out of the rubber boots of the steering rack.

Was the problem there before putting the new wheels on?? I know you're gonna have more surface area hitting the road now but they may need to be balanced again..
