a little lean

I just put on my new JLT ram air intake with a 90mm lightning MAF and its f***ing awesome! However, Bama screwed up my tune so I have to wait to put the 90mm MAF tune on the stang so it will run a little lean. So the question is, is it safe to drive around for a couple of days while I wait for them to fix the tune? thanks!

Re: a little lean

If your car is running lean I wouldn't chance it. But if you are only N/A then it is not a great deal of worry, just don't jump on it or you will here a bunch of spark knock or detonantion and that could lead to problems

Re: a little lean

Lean is mean , so drive it like a lil old lady going to church . Just don't get in it , you should be ok with normal driving. If it's like mine , I couldn't hear the knocking .

Re: a little lean

It is okay to drive the car a little lean as long as you don't floor it..........
