I finally finished my gear swap tonight! It wasn't as hard as I thought and so far they seem really nice after completing my first heat cycle, no whinning or vibrating at all!

Glad to hear it. Did you rebuild the trac loc while you were in there? You would be surprised how much of a difference just a trac loc rebuild will make on it.

No, it only has 30,000 miles on it and it seems to work really well whenever I need it too, lol, I just put some high quality friction modifier in it.

You should love the 4:10's . I've rode in trueblue02's with the 4:10's they really pull out .

410s were awsome in my car went to 390s so it wouldt hit the limiter at the end of the track with 26 inch tall tires. 390s arnt to bad though

i am wanting to tackle this myself. i know that there is more involved then just removing the pumpkin cover and swapping the gears, but was it easy?

I've helped do it on a 4X4 before . It wasn't that easy to me . It's got to be right or you just trashed a new set of gears .

Man love my 4.10 but stupid aod quits pulling around 110 so im stuck in the low 12s for now but hopefully i can get a c4 soon be in the high 10s low 11s
but my accel was great felt so much more powerful .
