Will a 5.4 fit in SN95?

I found a really nice 1999 lightning engine complete with SC for sale on craigslist that is close to me for a good price. I know the K member would need to be replaced/removed, and I would need a new hood but what else would I have to do in order to make the 5.4 fit?

Re: Will a 5.4 fit in SN95?

If you have a 2000 you'll use your existing K. This is a relatively straightforward swap as far as physically putting it in goes

This should help a little

Re: Will a 5.4 fit in SN95?

the t-5's don't directly bolt to the 5.4's but a T-45 would. if you sourced out the bell housing for a 4.6/5.4 motor then you may be able to use an adapter plate to hook up your t-5. but if you are going to build a monster 5.4 i would source out a fully built T-56 for it.

It has been done a few times, Very sick set up. It will fit no problem, Less the k and hood. Call Art Carr about the Tranny. Bad ass project!!
