Question running lean

hopefully ya'll can help. the other day the check engine light came on, so i went to orileys and had them check it with the scanner. the scanner showed i was running lean. so i took my car to a mechanic and he said that it was a bad temp sensor, well as it turns out there are like 3 (or more). he did say that it was top of the engine, but im still clueless as to where its at, or what it is. any ideas?

Re: running lean

are u sure its a bad temp sensor a lot of cars will do the same with a bad theremostat esp. newer cars they run ritcher to heat up the cats and get to oppertaing temps faster but thats like late 90's and up.

Re: running lean

your temp sensor should be on the manifold looking in on the motor left front. It may also be on the heater core lines on the manifold or in a t in the lines. Im a stick man so cant help ya on the slush box
