I would have had I known at the time the 2011 was more HP. However, I have done a lot of reading on the 5.0. Ford spent good time strengthening the top end but did the same move with the bottom end of the motor (powder pressed rods etc...) so even when I got the Kenne Bell I will be buying, I would still have to make the same changes. As it is I throw on some ported heads, new lower end, and the KB, I am still in the same shape. Probably saved some cash on the initial purchase as well.
Have to see the glass is half full instead of half empty I guess. Trust me though with the 3.73 gears I have already and the little difference the cold air makes I am good for now. I will have a Kenne Bell and this car will be one of the best around when she is done; just need a bit of time. |
